Best to do it in a salon where they have experienced people working. They don't care about your coochie at all, and they can do it in such a way you won't get burns and bumps. They can also give advice on how to maintain it and getting it to look great.
That you're embarrassed, that's just you. The salon people don't care.
I get a California done at a salon (one step up from a brazilian) and i'm not embarrassed at all. The beauticians have seen so many peoples bits that they don't mind, as long as your clean there's nothing to be embarrassed about!
I wouldn't have it done in a salon, but there are home waxing treatments available from places like Boots or Superdrug.
