Should i get a brazilian wax?

the thing is that i'm very hairy and my hair is really dark as well so it's really noticeable in the summer when i go on holidays. i did the upper bit already with my epilator but it hurts a lot when i go down there and i am afraid.what should i do?and how much would it be to go to a salon(i love in ireland)?would it hurt a lot?


and also how can i get rid of and prevent ingrowing hairs?i do have some...

If your epilator hurt, the wax is going to hurt even more. On the bright side, its sort of like ripping off a band-aid. You can do it slow, or you can do it fast. It hurts either way.





You can always go in for a consult at various salons or talk to them over the phone. They are the professionals.





One thing you can do is get a personal trimmer ( like a men's beard trimmer) and shorten the longer hairs around there. Then put on your bathing suit and shave whatever is showing. Use lotion (a lot) instead of shaving cream.





Shaving, I believe, causes more ingrown hairs than waxing, but maybe you don't have to do as large an area as you think and waxing only in those areas would be bearable for you.





There are also products sold over the counter for hair removal in that particular area.





You might also try a different style of bathing suit. There are some really cute bra-tops that could go with the tighter fitting boy shorts if you want to look athletic, or maybe a really short skirty type bottom if you want to look more feminine. They still show off your figure.





Its a misconception on the part of most of us women that men prefer us to look like pre-pubescent little girls. Grown men like grown women and they know what comes with that. They may gawk at the totally exposed, but they really go for a hint of mystery.
