Brazilian wax... where to go, who to call?

i've been doing a lot of contemplating about getting a brazilian. %26amp; its something i definitely want to do. but who do I call? A salon or spa that does waxing?

%26amp; what do i say?Brazilian wax... where to go, who to call?
do you have a salon you go to for your hair

just call any place find out their prices %26amp; tell them what you want done

good luckBrazilian wax... where to go, who to call?

Any salons in providence, RI that give great brazilian waxes?

I've had a brazilian wax where the hair near the anus and labia wasn't completely removed, and I want a good one where they take the time to get everythingAny salons in providence, RI that give great brazilian waxes?

Do women like men with Brazilian waxes?

I had one and it feels smooth!!!Do women like men with Brazilian waxes?
i guess its better than having a crazy forest down thereDo women like men with Brazilian waxes?
I find it utterly repulsive - the most recent man I was dating had one and it put me off him. It looks disgusting for a start. I like my man to look like a man. Natural is the only way to go.
No!

It looks awful!
yeah i agree with her. ^^^^

Do guys get brazilian bikini waxes?

Do an guys get their pubes waxed? Liket a BCS (back, crack and sack) wax? I'm thinking of getting a BCS wax but IDK what it's gonna be like, how bad it'll hurt or like what if you get a hard on when the chick is waxing you? what can you do if something like that happens?Do guys get brazilian bikini waxes?
The back, sack and crack wax is becoming very popular among men. I read that the vast majority who go for this treatment are straight (if that is a concern to you).

I have had other waxing done and then I went for a B, S %26amp; C. It really wasn't that painful but then I'm used to waxing - I don't think I'd like to have that treatment as a first time waxing experience.

If you go for this treatment and you're worried about the pain, take a dose of ibuprofen about 45 minutes before treatment.

Most reputable salons who offer this treatment state in their paperwork that they will not tolerate any inappropriate behaviour or language during treatment and yes, the therapists are usually female and very experienced at waxing - you REALLY wouldn't want it any other way, would you? It is expected that you may become physically aroused at the start of the treatment but the pain (although not unbearable) will probably make you forget any arousal.

The results are well worth any discomfort.

  • I do like a brazilian wax, but what about shaving instead? tried that too, but the upkeep is taxing!?

Gotta shave each day and it's getting boring. Any ideas?I do like a brazilian wax, but what about shaving instead? tried that too, but the upkeep is taxing!?
Waxing is your best bet. Other than that, uhhh - hair removal cream?I do like a brazilian wax, but what about shaving instead? tried that too, but the upkeep is taxing!?
Now you know what guys go through shaving every day just to have a clean face for a lady.
    face or pubic area?
Get laser hair removal. It works wonders.
I would stick with waxing shaving gets annoying!!
lazer hair removal will work, and it is great for the end result, but very expensive, and what a lot of people don't know is that it is very painful as well. It is burning your hair and some of your skin away. Plus your pubic area is sensitive, so it may hurt even more.

Waxing usually is better because there is not razor burn, stays smoother for up to a month. (usually 3 weeks) No bumps.

    Why not just get waxed?

They have creams that you apply and then wipe off after like 7 min. but from my experience, they haven't worked well, but your body might be different then yours, so try those out and see how it works.
The best thing is waxing. Laser hair removal is not guaranteed, it will probably come back after 4-6 months and you have to keep paying to go back to get treatment.

I don't see any reason why not.Is it ok to get ur brazilian wax while pregnant ?
should be fine its just hair you get a haircut when your pregnant so its the same ...just as long as your not allergic to waxIs it ok to get ur brazilian wax while pregnant ?
it's fine because you have to shave it to have the baby anyways..
probably since ur waxing ur hairs on the outside nd ur baby's no where near it. so i guess its alright. you should talk to the waxing company first nd ask if it's alright.

hope this helps...^.^ and congratulations on the baby!!!!

    Advice on the Brazilian wax?

I know what it is but how do you get it? Like, does a person have to see your private parts or do they give you a towel. And where can you go to get one? And what is the average cost range?Advice on the Brazilian wax?
every place does it differently but most try to keep you covered with a towel. my best advice is to wear bikini bottoms that ties on the sides. it usually costs like $40 to $50 and you can get one at most places that do waxing. All spas offer them.

What looks better a bikini or brazilian wax??

    truste me, brazilian wax.

I get them every 20 days. It hurts a bit, but I will never stop doing it. It looks so smooth (after a day, I get really red on the day I do it) and it's just great.

Give it a try! What looks better a bikini or brazilian wax??
A brizilian wax takes a lot more hair than a bikini.

If it's your first wax. I say do bikini and work your way into brazilian.

Good luck! What looks better a bikini or brazilian wax??
brazillian...it takes care of all of ur hair so u dont have to worry bout it :) it hurts like heck though lol
brazilian. a bikini wax just leaves far too much hair, its a turn off. A brazilian looks really sexy and makes oral sex so much more fun!
brazilian looks much better. gives u super smoothness everywhere :)
brazilian all the way. smooth as a baby's butt! yes!

  • I'm 15. Mom says no Brazilian wax unless she does it? Should I let her?

She is a beautician. She is freaked out about perverts and/or hidden cameras and said either I do it myself, she does it, or it doesn't get done but I'm not to go out and let a stranger do it.

What should I do?I'm 15. Mom says no Brazilian wax unless she does it? Should I let her?
Your mother has seen you naked before. She changed your diapers. She has a right to allow you or disallow you to do things she feels safe or unsafe. And she will do it for free so I don't see much of a downside to letting your mother accept your prudish attitude toward your mother seeing your private parts which she has seen hundreds of times already.I'm 15. Mom says no Brazilian wax unless she does it? Should I let her?
Your mother has some good points. Although, I wouldn't feel totally comfortable letting my mom give me a brazillian wax even though she's a beautician. That's up to you and your comfort level. If you are working save up some money and find a few places that will give you the brazillian wax. Then, have your mom go with you to ask questions and make sure it's a reputable place.
Why do you need a Brazilian wax at 15? Personally I wouldn't let my mom, it would be too uncomfortable for me. If you are comfortable letting your mom do that then, I say go for it, though I really don't see why you need one...
Honey, you're 15, what do you need a Brazilian for anyway? Do it at home, or just shave down there for now. When you're 18 you can do whatever you want.
I would rather have my Mom do a brazilian wax than some stranger! Do you know how much that hurts(from personnel experience very very bad but worth it)....................and why does a 15 year old need a brazilian wax?????
Just do it your self or shave down there.
    You're 15, you don't need a Brazillian wax!
I been having brazilian wax's for a few years now. I currently haven't due to pregnancy and rather not risk any infections in my private area.

I don't shave down there due to the risk and increase of infections from ingrown hairs and cuts. So my doctor recommended to try waxing and I have done that ever since. The first day my skin is sore, but I also have high pain tolerance once I get it done a few times to get used to it.

I would feel weird to have my mom, if she was licensed to do so, to give me a wax. Also trying to ';wax myself'; to save some money also doesn't work either. What was left was a mess to clean up and I don't think I would do a very good job at waxing if I can't even wax myself right lol.

What you need to do is go check places out. Go take a tour. Go with your gut instinct. Have her go with you.

That is what I did and I was so amazed on how wonderful this one place is. It is called SkinSation in Bakersfield, CA (where I am original from: http://www.skinsationmedispa.com ). Jenny does an amazing job and very calming to those who are nervous.

I went to a few others before this place. Each time, my instinct said no.

She does give recommendations to other places and what places she feels it is not best to go to.

For the waxing, it cost me $60. Average is anywhere between $50 and $80, depending on where you live and go. (quote in San Diego was $80 and my gut feeling didn't like them; so I rather drive the 4 hours to Bakersfield when I was stationed at Camp Pendleton, to visit family and get my wax at the same time from Jenny).

She has had clients from 13 (majority are inspiring models: many had their mom's or sisters in there with them) to adults in there 70's. She is very professional and by her personality, you can tell that just by introduction whether to leave or feel comfortable to stay.

You can also contact the health administrative who inspects environments such as beauty to restaurants to make sure it is sanitary and up to code. You can see any violations etc.

You do want to stay away from ';in home'; businesses.

Do men like girls with a brazilian wax?

think i should get it done?

how does it go down??Do men like girls with a brazilian wax?
YES!!! VERY sexy and it makes oral sex more enjoyable...Do men like girls with a brazilian wax?
hell yes, it looks great on a sexy body. if you're thin or medium build with nice curves, go for it. you will like it. i hear it's painful though
If you have the money why not try to slim down the bush by laser treatment. Its about $100 a session spaced about 3 or 4 weeks apart. The tech takes off as little or as much as you would like. Hair does not grow back. But it will take about 5 or 6 sessions. Waxing hurts like hell %26amp; just remember you have to keep going back for maintainence.
As a man - hell yeah - nothing like going down and getting a giant snatch hair stuck in your throat making you gag. Get it done right away.
It totally depends on the guy. Mine prefers a trim, but still to have something there LOL
DONT DO IT IT HURTS LOL just take care of it yourself with like tweezers or shaver. then again if youd just rather do it yourself.....
I don't know about most men but I have heard that just maintenance down there is preferred. Wheather that includes a trim, total shaving, a wax or something else, pick something that you will be comfortable doing and keeping up. You also have to think about the money committment... It is your choice, not theirs...
better to do it yourself, and do it completley
    any man would love it.

but men are not worth that much pain.

    really.

yes dude it makes oral sex funner for men...most of those girls are shaved though cause brazalian is a ******.

It's your choice girl not theirs. Mine thinks I look like a 12 year old if I do it...so just a short trim and bikini/bum line shave.
of coarse you think men like hairy women!!!!!!!!get it done its good
well, the only hair i have on my body is the stuff on top of my head...i do it because i prefer it, which is the most important thing for me...but i haven`t had any complaints from the fellas...i think generally they prefer this type of thing as well...

    Brazilian Wax in Brisbane?

I want to get my first brazilian wax, can anyone recommend anywhere in Brisbane to go? Preferably on the northside. And how long does it usually last before it needs to be redone? Average cost?Brazilian Wax in Brisbane?
Waxing can cost anywhere between $40-$70 depending on where you go.

You will probably end up going back every 4 weeks for a new wax. Some people can go for up to 6 weeks depending on the rate of growth.

I went to a local beauty salon for mine and it was great and for only $40 it was a bargain. The woman left though last year and I did try somewhere else and I was not as happy.

Brazilian beauty is $65 for your first visit then $49 for each one after. It is more expensive than your local salon.

I would recommend trying somewhere local first and if you are not happy try somewhere else. If you are not happy don't let them book you in for a follow up visit, maybe go home and think about it first then call back if you want. Some people will pressure you to make the next appointment.

I see no evidence of any pain involved... so 1 I guess. Not sure of the price but it will be well worth it!

well old kids clearly never experianced a brazillian wax!!!

it does hurt lol but... the pain is like a sting and lasts probs 3secs b4 the next strip is pulled off it doesnt hurt after the wax has finished though!! if the beautician is good though it should be minimal pain!!

its very very worth it, it looks lovely!

and if you have a fella he'll like it too ;) lol

depending on the salon it can range between 拢7-拢18 but don't go by price, it's not a sale item your buying the higher the price normally the better the salon, the better the job.

    Brazilian wax during pregnancy?

At 36 weeks, it's getting much harder to groom ';down there'; and I'm debating getting a Brazilian wax. I've had it done before and it hurt -- A LOT! I've heard it would hurt even worse being pregnant, so this scares me. Will a salon even offer this service for someone so far along in pregnancy? I'm terrified of getting it done and the pain being so intense I go into labor right there on the table, LOL. If you've had this done during the last few weeks of your pregnancy, was it that bad and would you recommend it?Brazilian wax during pregnancy?
of course you can get one done. i'm sure they wax obese women all of the time...so i don't see how a pregnant woman would be any different to be honest with you! haha

if you're comfortable with getting it done and it's something you want to do, go for it. but i would recommened doing it in a few weeks, so it'll be closer to labor and you wont have to worry about shaving. but you do know that whatever you have done there whether it be a jungle or not--they don't mind! they have seen it ALL!

    :) congratulations...you're almost there!Brazilian wax during pregnancy?
I have no idea. Sorry, but I was wondering the same thing.
  • make up brushes
  • Brazilian wax or shave or natural?

That is all up to you my dear, waxing lasts longer, but it is a tad bit painful to get and it itches when it grows back in. So, basically its a personal choice, unless your man has requested one of the three.Brazilian wax or shave or natural?
Trim.....there was another question just like this about 1 week ago and the majority said trim......Brazilian wax or shave or natural?
    Shaving.
    wax
Brazilian wax doesn't hurt after the first time, you get used to it, and it's not as painful as everyone else said. I've done it. Shave, for me personally, is awful since I get these stubs and I have to do it every 1-2 days and the hair gets REALLY coarse. Natural? What do you mean by that? Well anyways, if you're saying that you have pale skin and really pale hair, than that'll be great cause your hair would be hardly seen.
depends on wat ure talking about
    Love the bald cooters!
brazilian wax. i used it on my arms and the hair that has grown back is unbelievably light, that no one so far has noticed it growing back at all. the stuff doesn't stick to your skin and be stubborn like sugar wax, and the extra nutrients actually weaken the hair first. it also doesn't hurt a bit, it is very gentle and mild.

    i recommend sally hansen: http://www.sallyhansen.com/bd/new_line.c鈥?/a>

it's worth every penny and the hair doesn't start growing back 'til two weeks later. go for it!!
    Au Natur, please.
    wax or shave
I change every now and then. Trim it and then all of it at other times...
au naturel. well depends. waxing can be very painful!! watch out for that.

Brazilian wax? take it all off? or leave some?

Im going to get my first wax in a few days and was wondering what people prefer. Getting everything removed or leaving a thin strip or the little triangle? If you leave a little bit does it take away from the smooth feeling? Guys what do you like better also?Brazilian wax? take it all off? or leave some?
I don't mind really. Either completely bald or a thin landing strip is very sexy. You can't go wrong with either of them. I wouldnt really suggest the triangle though.Brazilian wax? take it all off? or leave some?
my own view is that total removal is kind of creepy, i can understand for a girl, it may be more comfortable/hygenic but it makes me wonder why guys like it, i think it looks kind of pre-adolesant which is fine if you don't mind the idea of your man being turned on by the fact that you look like a 12 year old girl, i prefer clipped down to about 3/4 of an inch and wax the bikini line so your left with a nice ';shield'; it shows attention to detail without saying ';insert here';...
I took it all off once and I felt like a 10 year old girl. Leave a little.
i am a guy.............love it smooth silky smooth. use moisturizer after.....and use perfume around but No Douche!
I am a woman...but I always leave a strip when I get it done simply because having it smooth seems too childlike for me. It kinda gives me an icky feeling to think about a completely smooth region on a grown woman.
    take it all off
Leave a thin strip ABOVE the spot. Just a small area. Everything else... WAX AWAY!
I take it all off, but sometimes just leave the landing strip. The guys love it like that, I've never had any complaints either way, just compliments!

In KK I dont think so.
To the answerers before me, a Brazilian wax is a wax around the ';bikini area';...

I don't think Malaysia has that service just yet because it's not in demand. Sorry. :(

    EDIT:

But you can always try going to the beauticians. They may give you that service. Go to any of Kota Kinabalu's shopping centre and head for the information counter and ask for ';the beauty parlour';.
    damn this alien....

this alien live in brazil but never admit....
uh, what is that? wax like wax your legs...? any beauty parlour can do that though I don't know what the Brazilian is so special about, go to some upmarket mall in KK and ask at those parlours if nobody can give you a definitive reply here, I am sure there are some exotic versions around.

Have you ever had a brazilian wax?

my girlfriend is trying to convince me to try one, but i've never been waxed beforeHave you ever had a brazilian wax?
I do them everyday.. I am a cosmetoligist. Things to consider: Its painful, but worth it! You can apply a numbing cream (lidocaine) before your wax to help with the pain, and I always suggest taking Ibuprophin an hour before your wax to help with pain as well as swelling. Buy a tube of Bikini Zone from Walmart (yes there are more expensive brands, but take it from me, they dont work any better!) and apply it about 8-12 hours after your wax. (no sooner or you may experience stinging!!) Just relax, be vocal about what you want (where you want hair and where you dont) and remember that you get what you pay for.. make sure you have an experienced waxer. Last but not least.. have fun! Pain is beauty, my friend :pHave you ever had a brazilian wax?
no but been waxed elsewhere i would do it it's not that painful.plus the hair stays away longer than shaving.go with your gut and not what your girlfriend wants.if she really cares or loves you .it wouldn't or shouldn't bother her what ever you decide.
Don't do anything that painful unless you want to.
Yes, I get something called a ';half-brazilian'; where she does everything except the labia (I'm too scared to get that done because it has no muscle and it would hurt like hell)...but seriously after like the first time, it's not bad at all. Everyone has just been scaring you. :-)~
Yup had em and done em.. i used to live with an esthetician a few years back... I still have the equipment LOL...

Not as bad as you think first 2 times is the hardest (and i'm a male LOL)

Q about brazilian wax--to ladies who have had one before...?

So I got my FIRST braz. wax 2day (omg the pain!) and was wondering if the red dots were normal?? There not bumpy or anything...just like red blood dots that dont come off w/ water? Any one can relate? Please tell me this goes away!!Q about brazilian wax--to ladies who have had one before...?
    Yes it goes away!!

I'ts just that the roots of the hair were probably slightly wider that the pores they sit it - think of pulling something larger through a smaller gap, stretches slightly. The little stretch is what casues the red spots, don't worry give it couple days!

Ooooh make sure you exfoliate the....area.....every few days so you don't get ingrown hairs (no innuendo intended there)

Q about brazilian wax--to ladies who have had one before...?
yeah that's normal they'll go away in a day or two

if you put light nonscented lotion on it after you shower it'll stay smoother for longer
In a few days.. it'll go away trust me. just try not to sctrach it

Why do people get brazilian waxes?

well, for one thing, it looks much better when you're wearing panties or a bikini. and it feels better too, especially during periods lol. AND, it makes oral better. guys don't really enjoy the hair being there and i find it kind of gross myself, actually. but you don't need to go brazilian, you could just get a regular bikini wax and leave a ';landing strip';.Why do people get brazilian waxes?
So they don't look like they are wearing a bikini made of fur! Go to certain places in Europe and you will NEVER EVER EVER ask that question again. Once you have seen a huge lady with black hair growing down her leg like a dude, you will be traumatized for life! Why do people get brazilian waxes?
cause it feels great, looks great, and just plain more hygienic when there is no hair there.

like me, some men get them done too.

women don't like hair in their mouth either
It's hygienic. In my opinion it feels and looks better and oral is a lot better!
So they don't look nasty down there. Seriously who wants a forest growing in their panties?!
For when they go to the beach, so nobody will see the hair down there.
so our boyfriends won't get hair stuck in their teeth.

Hi, i want to know if you can get STI's from having a brazilian wax? does neone have any evidence of this?

You wont get a std from a Brazilian but chances are , you will be getting laid more thus increasing the chances of catching one. You go girl!!!!!!!!!!!Hi, i want to know if you can get STI's from having a brazilian wax? does neone have any evidence of this?
No - Unless they stick something in you....Hi, i want to know if you can get STI's from having a brazilian wax? does neone have any evidence of this?
no because no therpist uses the same stick for a client and someone with an std would not be treated

What's the pros and cons of brazilian wax?

The pros: Skin is ultra smooth and soft. Your guy will love the hair free zone. ;-) When the hair grows back, it comes in slowly. You don't have the hassle of having to shave as often (and sometimes you miss a spot). Your panties (whatever fabric it maybe) hugs you right and the cloth feels great against the skin.

The cons would be: It hurts until you get used to the yanking and by that time they've finished waxing...lol

And if you have an ultra sensitive skin, you may have angry red rashes and bumps for a day. What's the pros and cons of brazilian wax?
Pro Skin will be silky smooth. It last for weeks

Con It hurts like all hell and watch out for the hair bumps. I use a bump free solution to prevent this from happeningWhat's the pros and cons of brazilian wax?
pros- nice smooth clean feeling. cons- hurts like crazy
The pros are deeply cleaned legs etc with hair growing in more slowly or more lightly

The cons are that from time to time pain will be felt and the hair does grow back
    pro

    you feel clean and smooth

    con

    it hurts
I think the person who said clean legs does not what a Brazilian wax is. It ain't on your legs. The pros are that it looks good and clean and the men really like it and are more likely to go ';downtown'; when you have one. And the one and only con is that it hurts like a mother. I finally found a person who does not hurt so bad, so it does help to go to someone with experience. It hurts, but at least it is quick. And the first time is the worst. After that you are expecting it and it is not so bad. Good luck.
pros.... lots ..if you have a great body thats just wanting to show thru ..itsa must ,u wanna turn on your man its a double must but if you just feel nice not having so much hair down there and just love your self the way you r then there is nothing like having a brazilian wax pulls up your spirits faster than a choclate cake !

cons.... it hurts...real bad ! word of caution get it done in a reputed place which has experienced ppl and is really clean !never mind the extra dollars its worth it!

And i'm not old enough to drink so how can i numb it or reduce the pain?Ahhh brazilian wax!!! Help what do i do?
First, never drink before you wax no matter your age. Alcohol is a blood thinner so you would be very likely to bleed during waxing.

Take a couple of Midol or ibuprofen an hour before you get waxed. This will cut down on both the pain and swelling. Relax. Do some deep breathing exercises. It's not as bad as you think it will be. You'll feel great after it's done. And the first time is the hardest. After that it will only get easier, the hairs will take longer to grow in, they will be finer and lighter.Ahhh brazilian wax!!! Help what do i do?
If it still hurts afterwards take some advil or something. But before you get it done ask the person who is doing it if there is anyway she can make it less painful for you. Good luck!
Excercise, jog 1 hour before. Take a Ibubrofen your age range 1 hour prior to the waxing! Avoid caffeine! Will make you more sensitive! 3 days prior to the waxing.
OMG!!! You're not old enough to drink %26amp; you're getting your crotch hair ripped out. OUCH!!!

Are you doing this on a bet or something. It's not worth the agony.
PAINFUL...nothing can be done to ';ease'; the pain girl.

do you like your girl to have one or do you think it's weird?

i just got my first one today and i feel like walking sex! :OGuys - what do you think of brazilian waxes?
I like it...it makes it a lot easier to go down on a girl, and plus it's much better for her!

And there are some things that a guy can do (like sucking your lips into his mouth, and sliding up and down the length of your lips) that really don't work otherwise...Guys - what do you think of brazilian waxes?
Brazilian waxes are sexy. The time for a hairy bikini line has passed. Today, it's all about shaved! Rob that beaver of its pelt and strut your stuff!
Okay, if you ever want oral sex from your man, it's best to have it either shaved or waxed!
No its not weird. I love a woman who get brazilian waxes.
    w00t!! haha

If YOU have had a professional Brazilian wax?answer?

i'm getting it done next week

on a scale of 1-10 how much did it hurt?

will it hurt less if i get it waxed every few months?

do you have to sit in weird positions?

is it ok to scream a bit if it hurts lol,If YOU have had a professional Brazilian wax?answer?
10! I just go a boob job and I'd rather go through that again then get waxed. Yes,it does get better eventually, but I'm talking years.I've been getting them from age 15-present(I'm 22) and it's better now. The positions aren't too bad unless you're shy (I am definitely not) About the same as getting a pap,but you have to spread a little more.Lol,I screamed a little at first and the only thing that happens is you might get laughed at a little. Take 2 ibuprofen about 30 min before you go.They'll have some gel stuff that helps ease the sting too. Also, when you get home a cold wash cloth helps alot, and don't take a hot shower right away, wear cotton panties that aren't too tight and I usually wear a loose skirt to my appointment so there's as little clothing as possible causing friction. I'm getting laser hair removal in a month cause I'm sick of being waxed every 2 months, hopefully it works out! Good luck :-)If YOU have had a professional Brazilian wax?answer?
I find it hurts about a 3. But that may be because I'm used to getting it done. I go every two weeks and have it all ripped and it hardly hurts now. For a beginner however, I would think its about a 6-7 on the pain scale. The pain does lessen as you wax. You don't have to sit in wierd positions at all, you lie, like a doctor doing a smear or otherwise and the beautician goes for it.

I personally don't scream, swear or otherwise, as it just doesn't bother me, but let me assure you, scream all you like! As long as you don't kick (this will mean you get banned from having it done, and possibly banned from the salon) you'll do fine. Just sit back, relax and hold on tight!!

    xoxox
On a scale of 1-10 I would say maybe a 5-6 (I have never had a kid). Also I have had it done twice before, and you do get in some weird positions. The most painful areas would be the side area and very inner parts. The butt crack really doesn't hurt..weird as that is. My waxer was awesome and kept me laughing the whole time and kept me modest as one can be doing this. I didn't scream but I griped the hell out of the table! She said I was one of the better ones as some people have kicked and hit her before
yeah i had it done once

    and only once

    because after the first time

i couldnt get it done again

    there were medical complications,

i have an overly sensitive vagina and a skin condition called hyperextentionary dermagenosis which means my skin is easily cut or broken

and when they waxed me they got too much skin and it ripped skin off. of course, my waxer is a very egotistic old witch and didnt plan on telling me this when it first happened, so she kept going. everyone says its so painfull so i thought it was normal so i let her keep waxing off my vagina and walked right out of the beauty salon legs spread like a cowboy.

when i got home i fainted, i think it was because it was so hot but thats besides the point.

but i was too scared to look at it cause it hurt so much

a few hours later i went to the toilet and it really stung alot and it was all bloody i thought i had my period so i put a pad on and kind of left it for a while, then in the shower i noticed that my vagina had swelled up the size of a tomato! i went to my gp and he said that my vaginal lips had healed together, because of all the skin that had been ripped off and that he needed to cut it open and then i needed gyneoplasty.

i had to wait about 3 days for the surgery, and in this time, as the body does, it formed a large scab over the top of my whole vagina that looked liked an overcooked steak. then it started oozing because it was hard to wash and of course in the 3 days i did have to empty my bladder. it got infected and started oozing white pus, it looked a bit like hollandaise sauce only without as many lumps.

dont go to my waxer, its a bit of a hassle.
I had mine done by a friend at home (although she is a professional)..

Its weird because the first half was probably a 4... not that bad atall, but the second half was a 6/7...

Apparently some people have one side more sensitive than the other??

I didnt scream but i may have swore a good few times..

Its not too bad how you have too sit, sometimes I think i opened my legs a bit TOO wide.. lol.

Its worth it though, it looks good and last so much longer...

Give it a try, you can always ask them to stop if its too much x
My auntie has it. She says:

    ';It hurt VERY VERY MUCH!!!! The lower it went te sawer it went so 9.5 out of 10. It hurt for ages afterwards as well and irritated me, even with moisturiser. I don't think it will make a diffo how many times you get it done. It will still kill. I screamed sitting in weird positions lol but the girl wasn't pleased. Don't get it done. Not worth the money!';

Brazilian Wax - Hair is coming back after 4days!?

So.. i had my first Brazilian wax.. i went throught all that pain, only to find that say.. oh 4 days after, im already getting little hairs coming through. Why would this happen?? Isnt it meant to last for 2 weeks at least??Brazilian Wax - Hair is coming back after 4days!?
The EXACT same thing happened to me. It grows back fast since it's our first time doing it. Its been a couple of weeks now, and my hair has grown back but I noticed a SIGNIFICANT decrease in the amount of hair that did grow back. The hair is still thick and coarse, but I'm patient. If we continue to wax it, eventually it will grow back less quickly.

I'm sure there are products like exfoiliators that help, but I know of none. Just go back in two weeks, it's a gradual process.Brazilian Wax - Hair is coming back after 4days!?
One of 2 reasons...#1, you got a shi**t**t**y job and you should call the place and have them re-do it at no charge or get your money back. Or #2, you're hair could've grown back that quick. My guess is more #1 and if it were me, I'd call them or go down there fast. I've had these done many times and they should not grow back in 4 days at all. Maybe like a week or something like that.
I'd call the salon because i'd think it'd stay gone at least a week-- the first time it will grow back faster than after doing so a few times if you can handle it.... If there's olny a few and you feel brave, you could pluck them out with GOOD tweezers...
Did you let it grow out for a long time before you got it waxed. You may have had some hairs that were already growing back when you got waxed and now these new hairs are growing in.
the second wax does not hurt as bad as the first one if you decide to do it again.
I can't see how this could possibly be the salon's fault - if you were waxed and there was no hair there then they've done their job - how quickly it returns is completely dependant on you.

The next time won't hurt so much but make sure you get it done frequently because if you leave it for like 2 months it will hurt more than the first time - so keep it up in winter!!!

Brazilian wax. Is it convenient and safe? Would you recommend it why or why not?

you need to find someone wo is credible first and then u know that it will be safe. and personally its very convienient. i use to shave and that jus makes the hair thicker. but waxing it gets thinner.

i recommend it to everyone. personally. i like totally smoothness. quick. not much pain if done right. and its awesome when u get head.

  • Brazilian Wax at home?

I really want to have a Brazilian wax done and want to do it at home with my husband helping me. I've read quite a bit about doing it at home and am a little scared. I'm not worried about the pain because I have a high threshold. But I'm worried about doing it wrong and damaging my skin. Is that a common thing? If we are really careful, read and follow the instructions, how likely is it that this will happen? And if I do damage the skin, do I have to get medical help?Brazilian Wax at home?
I suggest you go to a Beauty Salon and get it done by a professional.

As you're not experienced in doing something quite difficult, you might damage yourself down there. Yes, damaging of the skin can occur, if the hair isn't pulled off at a fast pace, or in the right movement.

And getting it waxed professionally is affordable, looks good and lasts longer.

Talk to a beautician about what you want.Brazilian Wax at home?
pros %26amp; cons of doing at home plus some products you may wish to try if you chose to do it at home

Before you get a Brazilian Bikini Waxing done, shop around for the salon and even spend some time enquiring about the person who will be attending to you. So talk to your friends, and get the best.

If you end up with someone who is less experienced, then painful days are ahead. A bad Bikini Area Hair Removal may leave you with a “burn” or even ingrown hair, which is very itchy and painful. Besides they will also take more time to “rip” the hair off!

To make things easier avoid shaving the area for at least a fortnight to three weeks. Some regulars have a painkiller an hour before waxing beings-this is said to numb the pain.

Remember that you will be exposing your most intimate part of your body to the person in attendance, but they are professionals and know how to calm you down.

More salons that are reputable use high quality waxes that are gentle on the skin. The pubic area has very sensitive skin, and the hair has actually protects it, so you are not really used to feeling pain there. The good news is that the process of Brazilian Bikini Waxing gets over in about 15 minutes, and soon everything is as soft as a baby’s bottom.

After the rather painful bikini area hair removal process, you will be given a soothing antiseptic, to will calm the area. You could carry some aloe vera extracts or calamine lotion to soothe the redness.
I have done this for my wife on two occasions and both have left me mentally scarred......... Your husband will think the prospect of looking at your foo for an hour and seeing the extent of his artistic flair well worth it, but, don't be fooled..... it's a relationship and trust minefield.

A salon can do it quickly and professionally and won't expect you to do it with them straight after...........
If you dont care about the pain and your worried about your husband doing it which you should be, go to a salon
    Well, after waxing, you apply a special lotion to prevent infections or anything. Sally Hanson has great products and lotions for the ';after-effects.';

Brazilian wax. Whats acceptable...? Im a virgin waxer...?

im pregnant and growing lots of hair... down there... i usually just trim and use a razor to keep it neat, but now im thinking i will get it all waxed off.

Do you wear a thong, or take it all off in the room?

Do i trim before hand, whats too long or too short?

Any tips would be great!Brazilian wax. Whats acceptable...? Im a virgin waxer...?
I work at a salon and I also get mine waxed. I keep a thong on, but some salons will have disposable undies. The Stylist/waxer will tell you before hand. You will want to trim it up but not too short as the wax needs more than a stuble to grab onto. Maybe about a half inch or so you'll want the hair. You don't want to keep it too long unless you want them to trim it up. - When I wax backs I'll take a clipper with a guard and trim that up first, so if you have one of those that might help. Good luck. Also, be prepared..it hurts. If you take some tums before hand it will help it from being red.Brazilian wax. Whats acceptable...? Im a virgin waxer...?
I get it done all the time and the woman told me its best to trim it down as short as you can possibly get it, I cant imagine the waxer wants to trim your pubic hair for you! If its longer it can be more painful too.

its best to wear a thong and they can just move it to the side, or some tell you to remove your underwear and cover with a towel, either way dont be embarassed, how many do you think they have already done that day!

Another tip, take a couple of paracetamol or whatever half an hour before it really takes the edge off the pain, but as your expecting make sure you can take something!
A Brazilian wax is about removing all the hair from the pubic area except a strip in the middle. It can be triangular or just a straight strip. Brazilian waxing is very popular these days. Most women go to beauty salons to have it done because they are either not confident enough or they chicken out after applying the wax. However, you can do a Brazilian wax at home. I would advise you to apply it on small areas first, so apply a small area and then remove the wax, and then continue with it. Stay away from doing the whole area at once because it is very painful.

wear what ever you'd like as you will be instructed to do what ever the person waxes you wants. I do bikini waxes but not brazilians and the person wears her swim suit or under wear and so I can follow the visual line. I then have them remove thier underwear or suit and cover the rest with a towel. No need to clip, as the person waxing will do that.

Tips for a first time Brazilian Wax?

hey :-) so ill be going to florida for vacation for a week on the 28th and on the 24th I was thinkin that I would like to get a brazilian. I'm nervous because I understand the process is painful. Can anyone give me the do/donts of getting a brazilian and recommend a good place in nyc? Preferably queens. Manhattan is fine too.Tips for a first time Brazilian Wax?
its not as bad as your being told, but i'll be honest there is pain involved. but if you really want that special look and sounds like you you'll endure it. i am a guy, i get a full body waxing that includes a full brazilian. trim it way down before u go , but do not shave. the beautifully bald , smooth sexy look on a girl or a guy, is worth it.Tips for a first time Brazilian Wax?
i would suggest just using a cream hair remover. you just put it on,leave for a few minutes and then wipe it off. it basically gives you the same results without the pain

I say wax everything but leave just a little hair neatly trimmed above the happy place. Hairless makes it look to young in my opinion.
just a bikini wax i hate the scorch and burn look lol
    No waxing...only the brazilian bikini...lol
    HAIRLESS !!!
Hairless is the way to go.

Whats a brazilian wax? And is it safe to get it?

Brazilian waxing is where they wax all of your pubic hair. The difference with this %26amp; a bikini waxing is that bikini waxing only takes off the hairs on the outter region of your... you know. But Brazilian takes off the whole entire area, meaning it will be painful.

You may feel uncomfortable having someone else do it for you, but they're profressionals %26amp; have waxed many customers before you so they have no right to judge.

If you think you can do it yourself, all you need is an at-home waxing kit %26amp; a large mirror to look at yourself with. When selecting a wax, choose one that is sugar based or very thin wax because thick gooey waxes are a pain to wash off (which is why it comes with oil that is also time consuming) %26amp; it hurts way more when you pull it off. So try using a sugar based wax because those ones can simply be washed off with water for easier clean-up or if you are having second thoughts on doing it yourself.Whats a brazilian wax? And is it safe to get it?
A brazilian is waxing all of your pubic hair with the option of having a runway right down the middle - you can have a variety of hair left - it's all personal taste. It is safe and it does hurt a little. The problem sometimes is developing ingrown hairs as your pubic hair grows back in - though there are products that help treat it.Whats a brazilian wax? And is it safe to get it?
A Brazilian is waxing everything, all pubic hair in front, under and the butt crack (not kidding). It's called a 'Brazilian' because the first salon to offer it in America was J Sisters in NYC, which is run by seven Brazilian sisters (or because that's what they do in Brazil, because everyone wears thongs at the beach, depending on who you ask.) Also called a 'Hollywood'.

It' perfectly safe, but it's it's not recommended to try doing it yourself.
    its safe
waxing all of your pubic hair, i guess it is safe but it might hurt

A few questions about Brazilian waxes?????if you have had one?

i want to get one professionally done and...

    -How much does it hurt?

    - How long does it take? like half an hour?

-Do you have to sit in really weird positions?

-Should i take some panodol/ or maybe have a drink or 2 beforehand to make the pain less painful?A few questions about Brazilian waxes?????if you have had one?
I'm Brazilian and I've had it since I was seventeen (over 10 years...)

    -How much does it hurt?

It hurts a lot in the first times, specially if you're used to shave (meaning that your pubic hair is thicker and it will hurt even more). But as time goes by and you keep having it, the hair will get thin, so it won't hurt so much, but that takes years and it only happens if you don't start shaving again.

    - How long does it take? like half an hour?

    Yes, like half an hour.

-Do you have to sit in really weird positions?

Yes. You have to sit, lay, etc in VERY weird positions. If you're shy, forget it... the professional will see everything you can immagine! But think that she's used to see it all day long... :)

-Should i take some panodol/ or maybe have a drink or 2 beforehand to make the pain less painful?

Don't have a drink, maybe an aspirin could help, and there are two things that you should avoid:

    1) Don't do it right before, after or during your period: you're much more sensitive, and it hurts a lot more.

    2) Avoid doing it after working out or after doing anything that could make you sweat: when you're sweaty the wax doesn't work so good, so to complete the process the professional may have to apply the wax 2 or 3 times in the same spot to take the hair out, and it hurts even more.

Besides all the suffering, think that men are totally nuts about it, so in the end it's worth!!! :)

Good luck!A few questions about Brazilian waxes?????if you have had one?
    %26lt;-- has one..

it hurts.. dont let anyone tell you differently. a true professional can get it done within a half hour for sure. and yes you have to expose your pubic area, but they will have a towel to lay over your genitals.

do NOT drink. you will bleed more. take an advil or something

  • Do you get a brazilian wax in brazil?

No it is called a brazilian wax because that's where it originated - the women in Brazil have just a small strip of pubic hair running vertically so that it doesn't come out of their skimpy bikini bottoms when they are on the beach. A Hollywood wax is everything off.Do you get a brazilian wax in brazil?
is called like that not because Brazilian woman have less hair! don't be silly, is called like that because there is a ';bikini'; called ';Brazilian style'; that was originated there, that bikini is ultra small so Brazilian woman had to wax a lot more than with usual bikinis , that's why it's called Brazilian wax ...and in Brazil they called like that...Brazilian wax.... I've been there...Do you get a brazilian wax in brazil?

Women - ever had a Brazilian wax?

I'm debating if I should get a Brazilian wax - everything I've read makes them seem worth the pain. I'd like to hear about others' experiences.

    Some specific questions I have:

    1. How long does it take to start getting stubble back?

    2. When the stubble comes in, is it itchy w/ red bumps?

    3. How many weeks of growth until the procedure can be done again?

    4. How many treatments until the hair is noticeably softer - slower to grow back?

    5. Did you feel it enhanced your sex?

    5. Did your partners like it?

    Thanks!!Women - ever had a Brazilian wax?
    i'm a dude and i've been waxed.

    1. depends on you. the more you wax, the slower it grows back. i'd say, after a month you are ready for another. after a few months, it slows down.

    2. stubble regrows slower than with shaving. no bumps, because the folicle is growing fresh from the root. not from where it was shaved off.

    3. i'd say a month. depending on you. ask your waxer.

    4. again, it's on you. use lotion down there to keep it soft.

    5. and 6. more skin to skin contact when both parties do it. the same can be achieved with shaving. but when both the guy and the girl are clean, it feels so much better.

Bikini/Brazilian Wax = is it VERY painful?

How painful is a bikini wax?

i tweeze my brows and upper lip regularly but have never had a bikini wax before..Bikini/Brazilian Wax = is it VERY painful?
Try plucking one, then multiply the pain by how many there are. hahaha.

    yes, very painful.

But if you do it regularly i'm sure the pain goes down because the hair follicles won't grow as strong.

Like you probably remember plucking your brows/lip for the first time-youch, but then now that you are used to it, it is basically painless. same thing for your bikini probably.

cant say iv ever had one or will get one but im guessing yes, it will be every painfull.

What's the most painful, a French Bikini Wax or a Brazilian? and what would you recommend for a first time?

it will hurt so i would just go for either the french or a regular bikini wax for the first time. then once you get used to it do the brazilian and then you might as well get it all waxed off once you are used to it.What's the most painful, a French Bikini Wax or a Brazilian? and what would you recommend for a first time?
Brazilian, because there's more to wax.

I recommend the Hollywood. Just get rid of the whole thing. None of that ridiculous in-between stuff that looks like your waxer got bored and quit halfway through.
  • make up brushes
  • What is this brazilian wax ?whr do i get it in india n how can one use it?

It's when you are bare ';down there'; it isn't something you will want to try at home. Trust me on this. Certain salon/spas offer the service you will just have to check around.

Ahhh brazilian wax!!! Help what do i do?

I'm going to get my first brazilian wax today what can i do to make it not hurt so much??

    How old are you?

Guys - what do you think of brazilian waxes?

do you like your girl to have one or do you think it's weird?

i just got my first one today and i feel like walking sex!

I love a woman who get brazilian waxes.
    w00t!! haha
i give them using my teeth

She says:

    ';It hurt VERY VERY MUCH!!!! The lower it went te sawer it went so 9.5 out of 10. It hurt for ages afterwards as well and irritated me, even with moisturiser. I don't think it will make a diffo how many times you get it done. It will still kill. I screamed sitting in weird positions lol but the girl wasn't pleased. Don't get it done. Not worth the money!';

What is a brazilian wax and where shall i get it?

Brazilian Wax - how many girls get one?

How many women get one at least once? Why did you want to get it done?Brazilian Wax - how many girls get one?
I get it done every month. I do it because its SO much better than shaving, it lasts longer, and its insanely smooth. I think its worth it.Brazilian Wax - how many girls get one?
    I got one once.

    Worst idea ever!!!

Hurt like hell getting it done.

Burned like hell for next 3 days.

Itched like hell for next 2 weeks.

    Besides, it's expensive!

Now I shave and I'm much happier!
I haven't had one yet, but I'd like to try it out and see how painful it is, and if it's really worth it.

Brazilian wax. Is it convenient and safe? Would you recommend it why or why not?

you need to find someone wo is credible first and then u know that it will be safe. and personally its very convienient. i use to shave and that jus makes the hair thicker. but waxing it gets thinner.

i recommend it to everyone. personally. i like totally smoothness. quick. not much pain if done right. and its awesome when u get head.

if ur thinking about gettin it done, jus go for it.Brazilian wax. Is it convenient and safe? Would you recommend it why or why not?

    THAT **** HURTS .. OMG

What exactly is a brazilian wax?

It is where they wax all of the hair off of the genitals

And yes, your boyfriend/husband will LOVE it.What exactly is a brazilian wax?
all of the hair DOWN there ...goneWhat exactly is a brazilian wax?
This is where the beauty salon waxes off your entire pubic hair. Some salons in my town won't even do it. I think it would itch like the dickens!
complete removal of hair including pubic
    when they wax EVERYTHING
You are completely shaven, NO landing strip at all! It hurts like hell too!
    It's when either all of your pubic hair is waxed or most of it so there's a ';landing strip.';

I prefer it all gone, if you're going to do it you might as well go all the way.
Removal via wax of all pubic hair including between the cheeks!!!
it's wen they wax EVERTHING down there
its when you wax all your pubic hair
    The whole cupcake honey. owwwwwwwww
all of the hair is waxed off your vaginal area.... front to back.......
a complete wax with just a little strip of hair right down the middle
BRAZILIAN WAX IS WHEN YOU REMOVE ALL THE HAIR OF YOUR FEMALE PART. ALL OF IT.
they coat you in wax until you look like a wax sculpture of Brazil!!!

no in reality it is where they wax off all your pubic and butt hair. even the thin light ones you cant realy see.

  • Waxing vs. shaving , especially for a Brazilian?

I have been shaving about every 2 days for the last 2 weeks but it grows back so itchy, esp. inside the labia lips and above the clitoris. I went by the book and soaked, used gel, special razors, etc. but it still itches. Going to try Nad's wax gel next, what do y'all think? Too shy to go to a salon and have them see everything down there, not to mention crying like a baby! I love the smooth feel on my lips but like the bush on my mons. Should I wax the inside of my lips and the lips themselves or just keep shaving? I'm not averse to too much pain, I tweeze my armpit hairs one by one.Thank you.Waxing vs. shaving , especially for a Brazilian?
Yeah shaving every other day sucks! I know that you don't like the idea of going to a salon and having it done but that would probably be the best idea. If you wax yourself, you may not be able to get good angles or be able to pull the strips off very well thus causing the hair to break off at the skin level and possibly setting you up for ingrown hairs. The people who work at the salon have seen it all so i'm sure they'll be able to handle you.

I'm glad I read this though because I didn't know anyone else tweezed their armpit hairs.Waxing vs. shaving , especially for a Brazilian?
all that gel crap and nair stuff only irrates the skin i am too hairy and have tried everything. you need a close friend or family memeber to help you go to a salon and take the ease out of getting waxed. shaving isn't any better. i never met a brazilian women are you a cutie?
I would go to salon and wax it. it's the best! no itchy.. and you feel nothing for two or three weeks after that.. yea.. you will have to face that pain when you are doing it tho..
I think you need someone to rip it off for you. Don't think you'll be able to do it yourself. If you're in Florida and need help let me know! lol. If you tweeze your armpit hairs though... who knows what you can take. I would still recommend grinning and baring it and just having a salon do it. They do it all the time. You could just go with a french wax at first, which is like a brazilian but leaving the upper triangle. That would limit the overall pain but at the same time once you're their might as well do it all.
YOU TWEEZE YOUR ARMPIT HAIRS, ONE BY ONE!!!?!?!? Why not just wax!?
ouch whats wrong with u just go to smooth solutions

Does it hurt to have a brazilian wax?

It can depend on your pain threshold (how much pain you can stand) but most of the time, it doens't hurt as much as people think. I won't lie, it can be painful, but it's not unbearableDoes it hurt to have a brazilian wax?
I don`t now but i think souDoes it hurt to have a brazilian wax?
oh yeah, it hurts...but lasts longer than shaving. so it's definitely worth it.
    Of course it hurts!

Pop a couple of ibuprofun around two hours before your appointment, and it should help, but it's still no walk in the park.
It does hurt quite a bit, but the results are worth it.
    YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    But it's worth it!
I'll give you 3 guesses, but you'll only need one.
well do a test, take some hair and pull it out, if it hurts then you know the wax will hurt, if it doesn't then you know it wont hurt as much
Did you really expect an answer to that one.

It would definitely hurt. Even with a high pain treshold. All those nerve ending located in that area are going to play their role.
Waxing does hurt, but it's better than shaving.
I've never had that, but I do know that any kind of wax around there is freakin' painful. My mom and I tried it once, and she heard me scream from all the way back in the bathroom. Ugh...get some nair if you hate pain.
I would think so, that is so many.... How many is a brazillian anyway? lol :) Sorry. couldn't help it.
It hurts like hell...and then you get to PAY for it...think about it!!!
does a bear ****in the woods?
    yes, it hurts!!!
Let's see. Ripping the thickest hair of your body out of the most sensitive skin on your body. Um, yeah, it hurts.
No it does not hurt at all! Brazillian wax is painless waxing because they use ouchless wax.
ye its hurt not so much
Getting hot wax poured on your cookie and then ripping the hair out of your skin? Heck yeah. But if you go to a really good professional person, the pain is a bit less.
Only if the man is using the famous Manuas pain technique. Other than that it is a minor irritation. Do you want to know about the Manaus pain technique?

    Genital herpes and brazilian wax?

should people who have genital herpes stay away from waxing?

should you inform them you have herpes before they wax you?

or does it not matter?Genital herpes and brazilian wax?
Well, I have my bikini area waxed and I had never given it a second thought - and I have genital herpes.

It doesn't cause outbreaks for me or anything.

I don't see why you should inform them you have genital herpes before they wax you - I never would and never have. Obviously I would cancel if I had an outbreak, but that is for my own comfort.

People who get cold sores (oral herpes) don't inform their dentists, and don't tell their beautician before she waxes their upper lip - they would never see a need, and neither do I. They aren't at risk of catching genital herpes from you by touching you, because their genitals are not making contact with your genitals. And one in four women they treat has genital herpes, just like 8 in 10 a dentist sees have oral herpes. That is just the way it is.

It doesn't matter at all.Genital herpes and brazilian wax?
It is a good idea to not have a wax when you have an outbreak for medical reasons too. If there are active blisters the virus can be spread around on the skin, increasing the area of skin infected. Same goes for shaving: do not shave when you have an outbreak.

You can pass herpes even when there is no outbreak present, due to shedding. I would suggest calling around anonymously to a few salons that wax and ask their policy. I believe that the bikini waxer must wear gloves, which would be no different then visiting your gyno for a pelvic exam.
Since genital Herpes are STD's I would inform the people doing the waxing, that would be the polite roll.
Waxing can cause an outbreak to occur and can spread the virus to other nearby areas that hadn't been affected previously. I wouldn't recommend it.
that seems like it would hurt and if you do you really should inform the waxing people you have a std
As long as you do not have an out break when getting your wax you will be fine.... There is a HUGE misconception out there that people with herpes are dirty and can pass it on to anyone at anytime.ITS SO WRONG.

You can only pass this disease on if you have an outbreak ie. open bisters and all the symptoms that go along with it and there is skin on skin contact like sex-oral sex-kissing...

You go about your business as per any other normal person with or without herpes. Do you tell people or every person you come into contact with that you have the flu or a cold? Because they are much more contagious and prevelant than genital herpes......

Thinking about getting a bikini or Brazilian wax....?

Summer is coming....my friends and I (you know who you are) are thinking about getting bikini or going all out and getting the Brazilian wax. Anybody ever had one done before?? What do you to prepare for such a wax, lol? How bad does it hurt?Thinking about getting a bikini or Brazilian wax....?
It hurts.....but it is sooooo worth it. Having it done the first time is the worst because you don't know what to expect and you don't know the pain threshold. I used to get them done all the time. (Brazillian) until I finally just got it lasered off. Costs a whole lot less in the long run!

If you go for Brazillian....expect your man to be a happy man. So make it a surprize! heheh

The procedure lasts about 30 minutes. Don't be modest....the people who perform these waxes have done and seen it all. They see it prolly 20 times a day and to even practice they've had to take classes and practice on each other. They'll let you know where to move your legs so they can get where they need to go to remove EVERYTHING. (yes they even go in the butt crack too) *lol*

The part that is most painful is at the top (above the ';slit';) of your v-j-j.

    Each strip of pain only lasts for a few seconds. And after it's all over and done with.....no pain. It just feels weird for the first day as if there is a breeze on it from it being ';nekkid.';

No hair for 6 weeks....and when it grows back....it's much finer and thinner.

Good luck and it's worth the pain of not having to shave and no razor bumps. Plus your mate will follow you everywhere.

;-)Thinking about getting a bikini or Brazilian wax....?
I think its personal perfence. I have had both done and wouldnt say that the pain is any reason not to do it. It's really not that bad and is pretty much over before you know it. I guess it depends on the results you are after. I like Brazilian, but my bf hates it... so I usually dont do it. I would decide what results you are after and then do it. If you dont like it, are uncomfortable, or think it hurts too much dont do it again.
Brazilian? Be prepared to show all, believe me you will never be embarassed again after going throught that!

    ouch, hurts alot!
i do bikini wax but not a brazilian one. well it hurts the first time but the result is worthy. You don't have to do anything special before you do it, but afterwords peeling every now and then is a very good idea!!!
Everyone's tolerance for pain is different, I had a brazillian wax done and didn't think it hurt terribly, it was however as painful as waxing can be...

To prepare : Just make sure the hair is at least a centimeter long, if it is too short the wax won't grab and it won't work. They should put cream on it afterwards to avoid in grown hairs.
Your in for alot of pain, OMG ouch!!

But worth it, exfoliate the area 5 days after the wax
Oh geez ladies give me a break!

You know what? Yes it hurts, not it isn't a pain you're going to cry from, and yes you'll get over it 2 minutes after you leave the salon. I can't stand when people don't get things because they're afraid of pain, it's not like the waxist is going to strap you into the chair and torture you! A good way to start is getting your bikini done first, then two weeks later if you're comfortable with it go back for a brazilian if you'd like. As for preparing for it, you can take two ibu profin (not asa) like advil or motrin an hour before you go to lessen the sting. As for hair, keep it short before you go, but not too short. If it's long it hurts more, and if it's too short it won't grab onto the wax and you won't be able to get it done. Get it done about 5-7 days after shaving. As for embarassment, don't think twice about it. The women who do these have seen it all, I asked mine once about the different things she's seen and she laughed and said ';absolutely everything from having to make a heart-shape (gross) to the thickest goat-like hair I've seen in my life';. Every body is different and yep, so is yours, so don't worry about that aspect of it. It's quick, long-lasting and convenient so rock it out and get out that teeny tiny bikini already!
so i just got my first one done umm lets see... 2 hours ago.. man oh man.. does it hurt! now i just took everything off.. holy ****. im still in pain.. and i really thought i would be able to take the pain.. oh no i was sweating and all.. the girl who did it told me it was because i have shaved before so the hair is thicker but she said that next time shouldnt be that bad.. well im at work right now and i did it on my lunch break.. everytime im walking down the hall alone i take a little peak! i love it! its super clean and smooth, i think the pain i endured was worth it but there better be some major pleasure tonight or im gona be upset! but seriously the truth of the matter is, its really not recomended. you have hair there for a reason and that reason is to keep out bacteria and things like that almost like what eyelashes do for your eyes. so im keeping her clean by not only washing her twice a day and after sex but im carrying around summers eve feminine clothes in my purse to freshen up after i use the restroom. so good luckk girls! and take something to clench your teeth on!!
The pain is like pulling duct tape off of your arms really fast.

The blood vessels swell up, so it's pretty darn painful...I'd say shave it before you go, so it doesn't hurt AS bad, but I've done it before and I wouldn't reccomend it. It's not really worth it.
I don't think that waxing hurts a lot, but it depends from person to person. I didn't think having a baby was very painful either so... I can stand a lot of pain I guess...

But I think it gets less painfull if you get waxed every once in a while. The hairs will go thinner and less stronger.
Don't whatever you do get a brazilian wax

    it hurts like a mofo

    yes its worth the pain

for a brazilian for a guy, $65 , woman about the same.

it is definite worth it, if you like being smooth and hairless.Any advice about brazilian waxes?
Okay, i've been getting brazilians for a while now. First off, a traditional brazilian means everything off except for a small ';landing strip'; on top of your pubic bone. my boyfriend thinks this is really sexy. However, if you want this removed, make sure you tell the waxer you want everything off. I will warn you though that this area is the most painful to get hair removed. Also, a good waxer also does your buttcrack hair. this may cost extra, but a real brazilian wax gets the buttocks hair.

Yes, the first time is painful, but if you go monthly, it will become less painful. Waxes usually last over 2 weeks, depending on how fast your hair grows. My hair grows fast but becuase I've been getting waxes for a while, my hair growth has slowed down. Yes, it is worth the pain. It is quite painful but its only for a few minutes. Take 2 advils an hour before you go, and try to avoid going during the 2 weeks before you get your period bec this is when you are the most sensitive. The average price can range from $50 to $100, depending on where you go and what the wax includes. I go to a good salon and the price of a brazilian is $80. YOU MUST TIP THE WAXER AT LEAST $15!!! This is waxing etiquette. I tip my waxer $20-$25.

Also, waxing does cause big ingrown hairs occasionally. These can be prevented by using TendSkin (you can find it online) and putting baby powder on your waxing region. use a light exfoliating scrub as well. if you do get bad ingrown hairs (I have) they can sometimes turn into cysts. they feel like little hard masses under your skin. they arent gross looking but htey are a little painful. you can go to a dermatologist to get crotizone shots for this if you do get an ingrown hair that has progressed to a cyst. but overall, yes, gte the brazilian, and fight through the pain! dont be a baby... its totally worth it. hair free for nearly 2 weeks, and when the hair grows in, its not gross at all. i go waxing like almost every 2 months even becuase it doesnt start looking unkept until then.

  • What do you guys think on a brazilian bikini wax?

that is when they wax it all offWhat do you guys think on a brazilian bikini wax?
It's always hot to see a girl with no hair down there, and it certainly makes performing oral sex easier, but I hope it's worth the discomfort. I've never had one and don't ever plan on getting one, so I wouldn't know about that part. What do you guys think on a brazilian bikini wax?
I'll bet it itches like crazy when it's growing back!
I bet it hurts, that's why I won't get one. Plus I'd rather not have people putting wax on me down there.

BRAZILIAN WAX can some one tell me where to buy one and or how to do it?

Ok, not to scare you or anything but I have heard stories about people performing their own waxes and well, let's just say it wasn't the best situation. My advice would be to have someone PROFESSIONALLY do it!!BRAZILIAN WAX can some one tell me where to buy one and or how to do it?
You can call your local beauty salons and ask if they do Brazilians, don't forget to ask how much each salon charges for the waxing.BRAZILIAN WAX can some one tell me where to buy one and or how to do it?
Go to a spa and a woman will do it properly for you., you won't be able to do it well on your own nor would y ou want to its painful . I can't see picturing you wripping on one hand and sitting still. best you let someone do it for you as you lay down. it will still be painful but you will have your mind full without wanting to get up and hit her .
If you've never done this type of waxing yourself, make sure you have it done at a salon by a professional. Trust me, there are way too many things that can go wrong if you don't know what you're doing. It can be a little pricey, but it's totally worth it. DON'T DO IT YOURSELF!!!
Sally's beauty supply. Make sure you get the kind with the cloth strips...the stickier the wax, the easier it is to come off. You will need a heater. All in all, the investment is 50 dollars...but well worth it. ..it will cost you 50 at the salon...minimum.

The kind you buy in the drug store is messy and painful...get the professional stuff...it will still hurt, but be less painful! Make sure you also buy the after wax remover. It can get messy. Go slow and use small strips at first...it gets easier! Also don't wait too long for it to ';dry'; or you will get stuck...ouch! Pull in the opposite direction of the hair...good luck.
should definitely have it done professionally..it could be very painful and messy in some areas doing it yourself.
