no. do NOT take pain meds...aspirin will make you bleed, make sure you get your hair down to a very low point the more hair...the more pain, and it hurts like$%^%$ for a 20 second period but after that you are smooth like a baby and for a long time, worth the pain. Just make sure you are going to a reputable place we should never play with that area. You may burn a bit afterwards but its nothing you cant handle. I would wear cotton underwear though, they are the softest and you dont want any tension afterwards.Advice before brazilian wax?
