It is a bit painful, but not to an extreme level. It depends on how well you tolerate pain. But one thing I can tell you for sure is that no matter how much or how little you can tolerate pain, it's definitely worth it. It stays soft and smooth and hair free for weeks. Are brazilian waxes painful? only experienced people, please.?
If you want my honest opinion it was very painful, I swear I couldn't touch down there for like a week. The first couple days afterward I could cry it almost felt like I just had a huge bruise across my front. My BF laughed at me for spending so much money for him not to be able to come near me. My skin was very pink the first day and I had little bumps and was actually bleeding in a few places. Some hairs were only ripped off at the surface and not from the root, so the stubble they caused was already growing back in a couple days (so I did still have to shave). The PRO's: I enjoyed being hair-free for so long, and not having constant razor burn, and the hair grew back super soft, so I didn't have to shave again for a while. The woman said she was a professional and had done thousands of them, really nice and made me comfortable. But, maybe my skin is just more sensitive than others, or maybe it takes a few times for it to become tolerable? I have no urge to go back. I will never pay $50 to experience that much pain ever again. Are brazilian waxes painful? only experienced people, please.?
Yes but they're soooooo worth it.
I prefer sugaring over wax though..it's less painful and less expensive and you can do it yourself at home...here are some links I though might help you:
